You arrived today very early in the morning!! You came at 2.18am weighing 7 lbs 5oz, and 18.5 inches long. We can't begin to tell you how blessed we are. You came out perfect!!!! We prayed for healthy and the Lord blessed us so!! You will probably be embarrassed by this picture later, but it's always good to have it recorded.
It's been a few days since you were born and you forever entertain us. You came out wide awake at 2 am, so your nights and days are a little bit off, but we think we can work on that. =) Our first couple of days was a learning process and I believe the next 18 years will be the same. We love you and look forward to what lies ahead! So you were scheduled to come today, but I think you might come a little bit later. =) It is freezing outside, so I appreciate you waiting..haha. We have a doctor's appointment in the morning, so we are hoping we just get to stay. =) We had a great Christmas today. Had our traditional Christmas biscuits with ham and eggs. Then we opened presents. Nana got to join us. This is her first Christmas away from Pop. He is coming to meet you in January when you have been around for a while. We are anxiously awating your arrival. Honestly Mom is a little bit nervous, but excited way more. We went through all your clothes yesterday and today and tried to organize everything. We are as ready as we can be... Today mom felt some pain in her stomach, but it didn't last very long, and it didn't keep going. So, I think it was a false alarm. But I have been told its prep for your real arrival. We CANT wait to meet you! Love you!!Kymhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16122629743438226937noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665459311356884046.post-58469824403829544822012-12-18T19:14:00.000-08:002012-12-25T19:17:03.337-08:0038 + weeks

Eli,
We had another uneventful appointment. Your Nana went with us, and my blood pressure was a little bit high, but everything else was normal. Your heartbeat was up because she poked you and you started moving like crazy. =) She said she would see us in a week if not before. We headed back to town and mom went to work. We are super excited for your arrival. You just might end up coming at Christmas. Today was very uneventful compared to last week. My appointment was around 4 and when I got there they were running behind and I think I got to the back around 4.30. The lady took my blood pressure and it was higher than normal. She told me to calm down. =) Then when the doctor came in she just checked to make sure my stomach was bigger and then told me they should take my blood pressure again. I am a little bit puffy by the time the day is out but this is very common. My hands are starting to swell a little too, so that is why they wanted to double check that everything was good to go, and we were just barely under what I needed to have for blood pressure and they sent me on my way.

This week your grandma is coming and she is very excited to get to meet you. You already have a very big fan club. Then on Monday the school is throwing us a shower. You aren't even here yet and boy are you spoiled. =)

We are still working on your middle name but it will be Camden or Brantley. Brant is your Dad's middle name so we thought we would add "ley' to it. So we don't know yet, but we are steering towards Brantley.

We sure do love you and cant wait to meet you! Love you, Mom and Dad!
Today you had your 36 weeks check up and again everything went great. This week they checked to see if I was dialated at all, and they said I was just a little bit. But gosh you can be dialated for weeks. They checked my blood pressure, again it was normal, and your heart beat was 155. They said you must of been excited today and you were kicking away!!
Also we were excremely blessed with diapers and blankets. So you will be clean and warm. You got some cute toys, books, bath supplies, stuffed animals and much more!! You have many to thank!! =)
Everything went great. I drive about an hour to have an appointment for just about 20 minutes. Today I decided to ask a lot of questions about all my blood work and the midwife was very nice!! She explained everything very thorough. And she said all my tests were normal. She also said you are growing like normal and your heart beat was 148. She said it was just a bit lower than last time because you might be sleeping. Said most babies sleep for 45 minutes, play for 45 minutes. When she said that, it made sense. But boy when you are awake, you love to kick!

So Dad and I are working on a few names for you, so that is why you are just little man right now. The top 3 names are Eli, Josiah, and Malachi. All great Bible names and great leaders. We are at 5 months. Today we had a check up and everything was great! Yay! My blood pressure was good as well as your heart beat. Your heart beat was 151. They said that is very normal and healthy! Right now you are the size of 4 juice boxes (so they say) and close to the weight too..around 2 pounds. They said to you would stack the boxes on top of each other with two up two across, a little box. =)
We have your nursery almost ready, and working on the essentials for your arrival. Everyone is getting excited to meet you!! Keep growing...this is momma's orders. We can't wait to see you come December.
WE LOVE YOU!!!

Today mom had to take the glucose test…which I was told was really nasty tasting, but it ended up not being bad at all… It was just a lot of waiting. You drink this stuff (which they gave me fruit punch) and then you wait an hour and then they draw your blood. The girl that drew my blood did an excellent job, I didn’t even feel her stick it in, I was impressed. =) Then after that we had another doctors apt where they checked your heart beat and it was 152 (very close to the last time), and then we were on our way. And you are about 3 ½ pounds.
We hopped in the car and we headed to Arkansas to see family. It was a very short trip, but it had been way too long!! Friday night we went to Linda and Jimmy’s (you will love them! This is my Aunt and Uncle) and she made dinner for us and J and Amanda came over too. (These are my cousins, soon to be yours, very fun! They have two boys Jack and Sam; you will have someone to play with!) It was a great visit, just way too short. Then we headed to Julie and Michaels and hung out for about an hour. (Again they are cousins, they have two kids, Lauryn and Clayton, they will be like a big sister and brother for you) They all can’t wait to meet you!!Then we headed to Nick and Jennifer’s house to stay the night. (These are some of our really good friends that are like family, so you can call them Uncle Nick and Aunt Jenn) They had presents for you: Diapers, clothes, a book, a fun toy and cute pair of socks. You are going to be styling! Then…Saturday we had breakfast with Nick and Jenn and then we headed to our other family’s house and we got to see Judy, Barbara, Lisa, Bobby and Jessica. They had a little shower for us with goodies for you! It was so much fun and such a surprise! I just finished writing them all the thank you notes…just have to get them in the mail. Mom missed a few weeks updating your page, so you have grown alot since the last update. You are now the size of a mango (you also weighed in at 10 ounces). I bought some yesterday, because they are one of my FAVORITE fruit! So good! I brought it to work today and before I chowed down on it I decided to take a picture.

Today is a very big day; we have an ultra sound to find out if you are a boy or a girl. Mom and dad are super excited!! My mom is in town too because we closed on the house yesterday. You have a new home baby!! She is painting your room today. We have decided to decorate it with safari animals. So 3 of the walls are a tan color and then the accent wall is an orange. Kind of like a lion in your room. =)
About an hour ago we had our ultra sound and YOU ARE A BOY!!!! Whoop whoop. We are still working on names, but know that you are very much loved. You have a heartbeat of 145 and they said you are doing great! Keep it up little man!! Baby Coe,
Wow, 4 months!! You are growing as well as momma!! Word on the street is that you can hear me and other voices as well and...supposedly if I sing a song to you now; you will recognize it when you are born. I guess I better make sure I am singing some good ones! You also are getting stronger and stronger and stretching those muscles. Momma is amazed at how busy you are working to be ready for your big day! You are also learning to make faces this early. You might even be making frowns, but they promise it is not because of anything we are doing. You are also starting to move your eyes back and forth. I’m telling you, mom is getting tired just reading everything you are doing! I am impressed. Keep up the good work!Kymhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16122629743438226937noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665459311356884046.post-19283224848971185992012-07-06T08:57:00.000-07:002012-07-20T08:42:52.004-07:0015 WeeksBaby Coe,
Well, we are back to the fruit comparison again. You are the size of an orange. I had an orange at work and walked around and showed it to everyone! So they all know how big you are. =) This week you did great. I did go out to a great restaurant, but you didn't react to it well and I was the sickest I have been the whole pregnancy. At least it only lasted a few hours and then I was back to normal. =) We celebrated the 4th of July by having some friends from church over for a barbeque. We had some good food! We had deer and hotdogs with lots of veggies on the grill and some awesome potatoes. And... our friend Laura made peach cobbler and her husband Curtis made homemade ice cream...delicious! You liked it all (well except for hotdogs, Doctor told me not to eat any of those. You might like them, but we don’t know yet). We have been talking about names and narrowed them down to a few. Your Dad just loves the name Bella, which I actually like too, but we have many friends with dogs named Bella and there is a series of vampire movies that are out that the girls name is Bella, so Mom voted that one out. I really liked Adele, but Dad didn’t so much. Its have been really fun talking through a lot of names. We did both decide we like Kenlee for a girl and possibly Layton for a boy. Kenlee would be named after my dad, so I think he would really like it. We also like Josiah for a boy, but this could all change next week. =) We love you!!!Kymhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16122629743438226937noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665459311356884046.post-68143567207601535412012-06-29T07:31:00.000-07:002012-07-20T08:17:06.739-07:0014 weeksHey sweet baby!!
Welcome to the second Trimester! whoop whoop! Yay, we made it through one, now 2 more to go. This week you are continuing to grow including some hair on your head and on your body to keep you warm (which later you will shed off). You are about the size of my fist now(no fruit relation this week, haha) I cant even believe you are getting so big! This week you and I went to Colorado for a camp called Ponderosa. It was very pretty and we were surrounded by trees. There were some fires, but they were far from our camp. You could still see smoke, but we were very safe. Part of mom's job is to travel and talk about OBU. So we had the opportunity to brag about OBU all week! You did really well! The altitude at 9000 feet did cause us to get a little tired walking up hills and the heat was high for Colorado weather. You gave mom a little scare yesterday, but there was a nurse that took extra good care of us and after talking to our doctor, they assured us that what happened, happens to many women and that you are doing just fine!! This made me feel much better. Also this week Mom and Dad put in a contract for a house. The closing day is July 31st, so you will be moving into a new home. Exciting times at the Coe house! We love you! Pictures to come!!!Kymhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16122629743438226937noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665459311356884046.post-3556836058744065782012-06-22T07:28:00.000-07:002012-07-20T08:17:28.228-07:0013 WeeksHey Baby,
This past week we celebrated our 1 year anniversary! We went out and had Indian food in the city at Himalayas. You don't know this, but Indian is my all time favorite food and its pretty spicy, but...you responded to it quite well! Thank you so much! Actually there hasn't been much food that you haven't liked. I am trying to give you a variety so that when you are born you will not be picky..haha. We can only hope! =) You have grown since last week! I am not sure why they compare babies to fruit, but it is a nice visual. This week you are about the size of a peach... and I do love peaches! Your dad and I have started thinking of names and had lots of peoples help. Two of the girls are work came up with names for every letter of the alphabet. We haven't decided yet, but we have lots of good ideas!! As always, we love you lots and lots!!Kymhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16122629743438226937noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665459311356884046.post-11396197601883015182012-06-16T17:58:00.000-07:002012-06-18T06:54:44.270-07:0012 WeeksHey Baby Coe,
Thank you so much again for being pretty easy on me. Although I get tired pretty easy, I haven't had very many problems at all. That is very nice of you!! As of right now you are about 2 and half inches long, about the size of a plum. =)You have developed everything in your system already, so now you are working on growing. This week we went to the doctor (dad went with us) and everything went great. We finally met our doctor who was very very nice unlike the nurse practitioner who told me I could drop a few pounds....which I have, about 4 pounds in the last month. Everything has shifted, and you are big enough now that none of my cloths are fitting and my stomach is starting to get hard. At the appointment yesterday we got to hear your heart beat again and its always fun to watch dad's face, he lights up when he hears you. Everyone told me to take pictures through the process, so here is momma's tummy at 12 weeks. You are definitely starting to make mom's belly stick out. =) We love you little bit!

I think I got caught up with life and I do apologize. I decided that most of you will see pictures on facebook, but for those of you that want more information, I will try to update this site about once a week with new pictures and new info about our baby and how Mom is feeling too.

Dear Baby Coe,
I just wanted to let you know how loved you are. This is a picture of you at 10 weeks and 3 days. Your approximate due date is December 29th. You are going to be our extra special Christmas present! So the doctor said last week you are growing just like you should be; that you are healthy and everything is going good so far! You are now about 11 weeks!! You are about 2 inches long (about like a peanut) and this week you are developing your nails and hair. This totally amazes me! I have only been sick a few times. So thank you for already being easy on me. I do feel nauseous from certain smells, but that is starting to go away. So thank you little baby for staying pretty calm. You already have many fans and many people praying for you! Mom is trying to eat healthier for you, (dad is too for support, you will love him, he is very sweet!!) and I must say it is the Lord protecting my body because I love love me some coke zero and it has tasted funny for the past two months. So good job baby for not wanting that! =) This is first of many letters! We love you!!Kymhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16122629743438226937noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665459311356884046.post-68893104040609057962010-12-28T15:09:00.000-08:002011-01-03T15:12:21.287-08:00Christmas Tree Biscuits<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-nBnFODoNM6L95bdPHoBnL_noZiYSUvjZersQQ5TupqOuJ6gweic2YuYF8II51mQG_73j3bW2-qioKYiIgzXdq4i3aW6ZPKFdAWx5I-qdEL2zAbCX6P4IrT6xPVEge64S3qePvi_pQPk/s400/SANY0242.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5558100901738297122" />

For Christmas our friends The Crocketts gave us biscuit mix. Now for my British friends...this is American biscuits not cookies. And the directions said to use a biscuit cutter to make the biscuits (or a cup) but I decided to use the tree cutter. And this is how they looked before cooking...man did they rise and they were huge and yummy!!! We very much enjoyed!!Kymhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16122629743438226937noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665459311356884046.post-16721529447789308182010-12-06T18:11:00.000-08:002010-12-07T09:25:19.569-08:00The story....<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 281px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvi3YCHuZq0OUpPAJmMz0Xo9_25la2n4kO2wsMyGCf0OSGK8y5aWQDfmsBc6ikf9By6iPnR4nlW9pWzGJVYJd2G7t1A3WXnjCcfySZZN-HnWJFM0-TJz3TD4LgaSXltgDm3osA-7zTTnM/s400/SANY0140.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5547766696030630850" />
Adam and I met almost 4 years ago. We both helped in the wedding of our good friends Butch and Sandra Bradley. I met Adam and remembering thinking that he was a great guy. He was really easy to talk to, funny, and he was active in the church we both attended. But..... I was leaving for Africa soon and had just recently broke up with someone to so that I could get on the field. So I was not thinking about a relationship by any means.

Fast forward to about 8 weeks ago. I went to see my friend Kevin speak in Oklahoma City and I called Butch and Sandra and told them that I would be in the area. They told me I better stay the night. It was a Sunday night and I went for pizza with Butch and Sandra after church. And Adam came in...he looked familiar but I couldn't totally place him. Sandra leaned over and told me it was Adam Coe and that we should re-meet. So Adam and I sat down and chatted away. And it went from there. We started writing emails and calling each other everyday. And then I went back the next weekend. The thing that impressed me the most was how Adam interacted at church. How he was respectful to those around him as well as them being respectful of him.

I spent the holidays with Adam and his family and while we were there his mom mentioned that my ring should be coming and maybe I will get it when we get back home. Adam kind of looked at me and said he was hoping it to be a little bit more a surprise than that. We came home on Sunday after thankgiving and sure enough in the mail was the letter from the post saying he had a parcel. So Monday morning we went to the post office...(yeah I was with him when he was picking up MY ring) haha. So he gets in the car and opens it...turns it sideways so I cant see it and proceeds to say, "I think you are really going to like it, but I am going to wait until Christmas," with that I laughed and said... uhm no. So from the post office we went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Side note....when my parents came the first week of november for a family reunion, Adam asked their permission at breakfast at Cracker barrel..haha. So we are at breakfast at Cracker barrel, when we finish eating Adam goes to the bathroom and when he gets back he tells me that he doesn't need to sit down quite yet and gets down on one knee. It wasn't too busy, but we did have 3 or 4 couples watching and smiling really big. Adam said a bunch of really really sweet things that I cant quite remember, but ended with the fact that he knew the Lord gave him his soul mate and his heart belongs to me and he is so thankful for what the Lord has done in our lives. Oh...I did say yes. =)
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzt5F2SqCZqXwsoFFWEl51kDfPFtQRMwoknpgEkR5IXS_zmFXE4NBKumDIowLtRVafhjpHB6Znu5rG6UvK3ANRJ8QPmqkR4Sat8Slfx_MnK26II7kPIqlOfN0idL_p3CPCPFUVm58mAL8/s400/SANY0192.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5547767970584432290" />
So nothing crazy and extravagant, but something perfect for me. And even though I knew he had the ring in his pocket at Cracker barrel, he still managed to surprise me when he popped the question. Thanks so much to all of you that are praying for our new relationship and the next steps. Our wedding will be June 18th, 2011.

The first picture is the day Adam asked my parents permission and then ofcourse the other picture is the day of the engagement.Kymhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16122629743438226937noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665459311356884046.post-87649796272780389072010-08-19T23:47:00.000-07:002010-08-29T12:14:41.100-07:00SwazilandYesterday I arrived in South Africa, and then today I drove almost 5 hours to the cute kingdom of Swaziland. I was one day off. whoops! Yesterday we left for the lake and spent the night. We had a wonderful relaxing time. It was awesome! The team was great to be with. It was my last trip to the lake for a very long time, so it was a bittersweet trip. I spent time with Phillip this amazing drum maker. He is a deacon at the Baptist church. He is so passionate about Jesus and a blessing to spend time with. He wanted to give me this gift.. and it was a cute little minni drum. The team "CPET" means Church planting evangelism team. =) It was an awesome afternoon. Many speeches and words of wisdom and many many telling me next time I come I will have a husband to introduce to them. Very funny and sweet. I think the part that blessed me so much is one of my friends, Gift, shared that even though I am leaving I have a legacy and when people ask about me they have many good things to share. It was very nice and I felt very loved and touched!!

Then this evening I had dinner with two of the lovliest people. Jeff and Kim Witte. They are here for the summer and I have truly enjoyed spending time with them and they are from Washington. Whoop whoop!! You guys were great, thanks for the company!!Kymhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16122629743438226937noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665459311356884046.post-40025099851426068052010-07-25T13:44:00.000-07:002010-08-02T23:32:08.940-07:006 days, Sweet Anita<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 280px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhl3-zmM-DuSr4CXJz26zWy3uuDW7yZhsm4-PJdp1VZ2y-4dsHKYFOU5JrWnDPmfh_fdZ8Qv67IAyGQpNTRCxSXDKfNkb227f46tZaMVWXnXLRI2CoKGZZqePdTX402mGsohJN7E3tr6so/s400/IMGP0064.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5501067542134040098" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 316px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIcsxZQEc4VC-iWYI98CHu7RJbDtGoVNFyR7mzluzPRnYpb1frkETy7JxUgF6_8cpzNZ5YrhSLPJEn0WHkKdp5aV3iE2PC1Oq90GYASDUL2GSfCABv3qfLeKzd6T6_w4Sc-S9NrkJnf5I/s400/IMGP0062.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5501067539628606738" />
Today one of translators came by the house to say goodbye because she is unable to come to the fairwell tomorrow. Anita has become a dear friend to me. She is so talented and uses her gifts to glorify the Lord. I am so thankful for getting to know her!! Anita took some material to her taylor for me and she brought me the skirt today. After I tried it on, she then gave me a necklace, earrings, ring, and bracelet that matched my skirt. So cute!! Then I gave her some earrings, so here are some pictures of our earrings and my skirt. I love it!Kymhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16122629743438226937noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665459311356884046.post-38752827277663921542010-07-24T13:13:00.000-07:002010-07-24T13:22:28.795-07:007 days...day with the roommie!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 287px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBlEm7axeJ99CCN14Lwxca98QziUqthWepe4IVEFsYt1sDZz0hdPhgqqQDJMLTVffa-cXx4ornh8A3ZueCsDJOx4hvarZ5qkWzgD4W1_ndaab5S9YFLo0xtVEPObwQxJycY6U1AGT2vYU/s400/IMGP0057.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497569874522633426" />
Today I had a day with my roommie!! We first started our morning at Mat and Janet's for breakfast. We had yummy cinnabon cinamon rolls...wowzers. Then Annie had an appoitment for a hair cut, then we went to our friend Lori's house for a visit, then to the office to pick some items up, then off to Henry's house for a visit, then home where we had about an hour, then our friend Sharon came over. We had tea and cake and it was delicious! Then we went to the Farmers for dinner and a lovely time of visiting and laughing really really hard!!! I love you Farmers and Annie.
This picture is our 4th attempt with Sharon. =) I like it!!Kymhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16122629743438226937noreply@blogger.com0
